Aisin Seiki Co Ltd is a Japanese engineering company. The vast majority (96% in 2008) of Aisin products are components for car assembly plants. Aisin is one of the companies headquartered in Aichi Prefecture and dependent on Toyota, but not directly controlled by it (Toyota's share in their capital ranges from 25 to 40%). Aisin products are also produced under the ASCO name. Aisin products are rarely counterfeited. A branded product is easy to recognize by the high level of execution of small parts, high-quality packaging, the presence of a protective sticker on the body of the spare part, high-quality molding and precise dimensions.
